I was really looking forward to their visit...since I heard that the husband would like to book a whole house and treat his wife
in the relaxing atmosphere, with his hand-made cooking!
On the day of check-in, he made the dinner in his house in advance and carried to Konichi-an...paella, soup, squash stuffed with
vegetables and wine...mmm it must be so yummy!!
His wife has just finished her job on that day, I was so honored to hear that he chose Konichi-an for such a big
day.
I also wanted to make something small for his wife, as a little token of appreciation, then I made small desert plates after their
dinner.
Of course it was not my hand-made ice cream...but the frozen figs were home-made, adding vintage local sake to the ice cream at
the time of eating. 😉
His wife seemed so happy during her stay, they just relaxed and enjoyed the dinner and the conversation just the two of them, it
was really heartwarming...
If you are going to stay at Konichi-an on some anniversary, please make sure to let me know when booking, let me share a happy
feeling, you might have a small surprise at that time.😉
奥様への感謝を込めて、手料理を持参して、一棟貸切でおもてなしをしてあげたいというご主人からいただいたご予約。オーナーも当日を楽しみにしていました♪
ご宿泊日当日。パエリヤなどのご馳走と、食器やグラス、ワインクーラーまで携えてこられて、まるでレストランのよう!
聞くと、この日は奥様が長年のお仕事人生にピリオドを打たれた節目の日だったようで…
そんな大切な日に好日庵を選んでいただき、本当にありがとうございました>_<
ほんの気持ちだけど、こちらからもなにかさせていただきたい♡と思い、食後のデザートをサービスさせていただいたのですが…
実際にお出ししたものの撮影をすっかり忘れ、試作品の写真のみです^^;
バニラアイスに、自家製イチジクのフローズンを添えて、熊野の古酒「古人(いにしえびと)」をちょっとかけて食べていただきました♪
ただただゆったりと過ごしに来ました、とおっしゃって、食後はご夫婦でお喋りしながら静かな時間を楽しんでおられて。こちらも幸せな気分になりました(*^^*)
