The friendly guests from Tokyo, who stayed Konichi-an before their Kumano Kodo Nakahechi walking trip.
If you are going to walk Kumano Kodo by bus, please pay attention, Kumano Kodo rapid bus DOES NOT stop by JR Shirahama
station.
The closer bus stop from Konichi-an is "Toretore-ichiba-mae"(nearby Tore Tore Market), it takes 25 to 30 minutes by walk, so we
offer a free shuttle service to “Toretore-ichiba-mae” bus stop, pre-booking is required(you can book it when check-in).
After they departed by bus, I came back to Konichi-an and noticed they left their belongings in our living room...oh
my!
They were going to start walking from Takijiri-oji, so I started to run after the bus!
Fortunately I caught up with them there, and said goodbye for the second time.

Around Takijiri-oji, the cherry blossoms started blooming, and depends on the area, you can see some early blooming wild cherry
blossoms while your Kumano Kodo walking.
Today’s weather forecast says, the cherry blossoms in Tokyo will be at their best before the end of March, it may possibly be
earlier than usual.

熊野古道中辺路を踏破予定のゲストさんたち。
熊野詣での前夜は好日庵にて、一棟貸切でリラックスして過ごしていただきました♪
実は、熊野本宮方面へ向かう熊野古道エクスプレス号（明光バス）は、なぜかJR白浜駅を経由しないのです…そのため、熊野古道ウォークのゲストさんは、チェックインの際にご相談いただけましたら、最寄りの「とれとれ市場」バス停までお送りさせていただいております。
こちらのゲストさんたちも、とれとれ市場からバスに乗車され、いざ、ウォーク開始地点の滝尻王子へ向かって出発！
…が、ゲストハウスに戻ってみると、私のチェックミスで、リビングにお忘れ物が！(T . T)
慌てて、バスを追いかけて車で走ることに！^^;
幸い、無事に滝尻王子でお会いできて、改めてお見送りさせていただきました。
お怪我なく、無事踏破できますように(*^^*)
滝尻王子周辺では、場所によっては桜が咲き始めていました♪
熊野古道館の方のお話では、見頃はこれからで、そろそろ熊野本宮大社の枝垂れ桜も綺麗に見られるのでは、とのことでしたよ〜。旧社地・大斎原が桜色に染まるのも楽しみです！
今朝のニュースによると、東京の桜の見頃は3月24日〜3月31日になるそうで…やはり例年よりも少し早めでしょうか？
