It was very hot like a summer days today...and our 100% organic "Ume" Japanese apricot are getting ripe and dropping one after
another every day!
Actually we had consecutive guests who stayed Konichi-an with whole house rental, some were the group of tourism inspectors from
France, and the others were the family trip for 3 nights. It's a good year for Ume as well, we are so delighted, though a little tied up...but today, we had a lovely helper Ms.N for
picking Ume!
When we started to pick Ume, Ms.N was surprised that there were a lot of ripe Ume dropped naturally for just one day, in less than
30 minutes, she picked around 2 kg’s Ume.
It was her first time to pick Ume and she enjoyed it very much, she said, “Once you start picking, you just can't stop it!”. Thanks
a lot for your help, Ms.N!!
From June.1st to 11th and from June.14th to 24th, we will have “Ume” Picking & Making “Umeshu” or “Ume sirup” Experience in
ZEN Guesthouse Konichi-an.
Depending on the weather or crop situation, “Ume” Picking Experience might be cancelled, but we will still have Making “Umeshu” or
“Ume sirup” Experience.

梅雨入りはいつになるのやら…？今日は梅雨を通り越して真夏のようなお天気でした。
梅たちもどんどん熟してきてますよ〜。
先日から、フランスの旅行会社の方々が視察を兼ねてお泊りいただいたり、仲良し姉妹の帰省中のお宿として連泊していただいたり。一棟貸切でのご利用が続いていて、さらに今年は梅が豊作で…嬉しい悲鳴を上げていたら、今日は可愛い助っ人さんが梅採りをお手伝いに来てくれました！
ついでに、梅採り体験リポートのモデルさんをお願いしましたよ♪
好日庵の裏の畑へ移動して、梅採りをスタート！
梅の木って意外と低いんですね、とか、たった一日でこんなに自然落下するんですね〜などと話しながらせっせと拾ううちに、またころりんと落下してきて。
30分も経たないうちに、2㎏分ほどの南高梅を収穫できました。
楽しかった！拾い始めたら止まらない！こんなにたくさんの実がなるなんて、梅の木はすごい！うちにも梅の木が欲しいなあ〜と可愛い感想をいただきました♪

梅採り&梅しごと体験、まだまだお申込み受付中ですが、予想よりも早く、どんどん熟して自然落下してきているので…この様子だと、もしかすると6月下旬までには収穫が終わってしまうかも？^^;
その場合は、すでに収穫して冷凍保存している完熟梅で、梅しごと体験のみ実施させていただきますが、梅採り体験を希望される場合は、お早めにお申込みください♪
