The evacuation order in Shirahama town was lifted in this morning, without suffering any damage in this small village and Konichi-an.
The small crabs in the garden are safe and back to normal too.😉
Due to the influence of of the typhoon "Cimaron"(#20) last night, JR trains between Wakayama and Shingu were cancelled, but almost all normal trains(except for some normal trains between Kii-Tanabe and Susami) in this region has been back to normal from this afternoon.
At this moment, the limited express train “Kuroshio” continues to be cancelled.
If you are planning to travel from Osaka to Konichi-an, please feel free to contact us and check the updated situation.
Some limited area in Shirahama town and the surrounding area has been flooded or suffered by landslide.
We still have rough seas and the strong wind, and it is possible to have some more landslides in the mountainous area. Please keep it in your mind and be extra careful with while traveling, if any unclear, please feel free to check the updated situation with us!!
白浜町内は、今朝避難指示が解除されましたが、台風一過とはいかず、時折雨がぱらつき、風が強く吹いています。

7年前の紀伊半島大水害と同じルートを辿るということで、昨夜は不安な一夜を過ごしましたが、好日庵は目立った被害はなく、今日は折れた庭木や飛来物を片付けていました。
台風の間どこかに隠れていた庭の蟹たちも、もう大丈夫？と顔を出してきていました。
JRきのくに線は、本日も夕方まで、紀伊田辺〜串本駅間で列車の運転を見合わせていましたが、紀伊田辺〜周参見間が一部運休となっている他は、普通列車の運転を再開しています。
ただし「特急くろしお」については、現時点で運行再開は未定となっております。
